Heidi Reijm

Senior Program and Learning Officer

Heidi Reijm joined the staff in 2018 as a Policy and Program Fellow with the Hudson-Webber Foundation and the Council of Michigan Foundations, then as a Program and Learning Officer in 2020, and the Senior Program and Learning Officer in 2023. Reijm advances programmatic, research, learning, and grant making activities of the Foundation. Prior to this, Reijm was Project Director at JFM Consulting Group, a Detroit-based research, evaluation, and strategy firm. There she led program evaluations for clients in the areas of public health, education, community and economic development, community safety and racial equity. Before working with JFM, Reijm was a freelance researcher, consultant and writer; as well as a Program Officer with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, a national non-profit financial intermediary where she managed lending and grantmaking for community development programs, as well as research projects related to affordable housing, economic development, and community safety, among other issues. Reijm received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the City University of New York Graduate Center. She lives in Detroit with her spouse, two sons, and two dogs.
